The European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry (EFMC) is an independent association representing medicinal chemistry societies in Europe. Its objective is to advance the science of medicinal chemistry by promoting cooperation and networking, by providing training and mentoring, by rewarding scientific excellence, and by facilitating communication and influencing stakeholders.

  • EFMC-ASMC'17 - International Symposium on Advances in Synthetic and Medicinal Chemistry

    August 27 - 31, 2017   Vienna, Austria

    The European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry (EFMC), the Medicinal Chemistry Section of the Austria Chemical Society and ChemBridge Corporation will be organizing the 7th edition of the International Symposium on Advances in Synthetic and Medicinal Chemistry (EFMC-ASMC’17). This event is planned in the series of events which started with ASCMC04 and ASMC13 in Moscow, ASMC07 and ASMC11 in St. Petersburg, ASMC09 in Kiev and ASMC15 in Rehovot (Israel).

    The symposium programme will contain 28 invited lectures (half from academia and half from industry), 10 short communications selected from submitted abstracts, a poster session, as well as an interesting cultural and sightseeing programme.

    The symposium will take place in Vienna, Austria from August 27-31, 2017. More information will be published on this website soon!
