Since 2002, aware of the fact that promoting business in medicinal chemistry is becoming increasingly important, the EFMC edits "Medicinal Chemistry in Europe", Yearbook 2007. This annual publication has been designed to give an inside look at medicinal chemistry in Europe in general.

The 5th edition,  EFMC Yearbook 2007, is being published and contains among others:

  • a presentation of the EFMC and its activities
  • new EFMC Committees
  • an article of Prof. Povl Krogsgaard-Larsen and Kristian Strømgaard, (Department of Medicinal Chemistry, the Danish University of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Copenhagen, Denmark) entitled “Natural Toxins as Leads in Drug Discovery”
  • a presentation of the activities of the national societies that are members of the EFMC
  • a directory of the largest companies acting in medicinal chemistry

The yearbook is being distributed through the Adhering National Organizations to their members, i.e. to more than 7.000 scientists, managers and executives in medicinal chemistry within Europe.
