EFMC Sponsored Events are scientific events or post-graduate educational activities related to Medicinal Chemistry or Chemical Biology organised by EFMC national adhering organisations*, EFMC partner organisations, non-for-profit associations or scientific committees.
Applications for sponsorship should be done by sending the below form to the EFMC Administrative Secretariat (administration@efmc.info), at least three months prior to the event for both physical and online events. In case of smaller online events, we will accept requests up to a month prior to the event.
Sponsorship applications will be considered by the EFMC Executive Committee before approval. Sponsorship will not be granted to events overlapping with EFMC organised events.
*EFMC national adhering organisations are granted EFMC sponsorships at no costs, provided the event fulfills the requirements.
Therapeutic oligonucleotides
The Société de Chimie Thérapeutique (SCT), in collaboration with Servier, is organizing a one-day symposium on Therapeutic Oligonucleotides, covering recent advances in antisense oligonucleotides, siRNAs, aptamers and emerging modalities, from chemistry and design to targeted delivery and clinical translation.
The meeting will bring together experts from academia and industry to discuss the latest developments in oligonucleotide therapeutics.

Annual One-Day Meeting on Medicinal Chemistry of SRC & KVCV
The Medicinal Chemistry Divisions of the two Belgian Chemical Societies — the Société Royale de Chimie (SRC) and Koninklijke Vlaamse Chemische Vereniging (KVCV)— are pleased to invite you to the Annual One-Day Meeting on Medicinal Chemistry (MedChem 2026), which will be held on Monday December 14, 2026, in UCLouvain - Woluwé, Brussels (Belgium).
This one-day meeting is designed to provide participants with the latest information on key areas of pharmaceutical research, presented by leading experts in the field.
The programme will feature 7 Invited Lectures, 3 Oral Communications selected from the submitted abstracts, and a Poster Session.
Traditionally, this symposium brings together around 150 participants, equally divided between academia and industry, from Belgium and surrounding countries.
Important deadlines
- 17 September 2026: Firstcomer registration deadline
- 22 October 2026: Early-bird registration, oral communication submission and free poster submission
- 5 November 2026: Final poster abstract submission deadline (€50 handling fee after 22 October)
