Crossing boundaries to Build Strong Networks for Early Career Researchers!

The Young Scientists Network of the European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry (EFMC-YSN) is a platform launched in 2019 to support and promote the development of young medicinal chemists and chemical biologists in Europe.  

The EFMC-YSN provides opportunities for early-career scientists to network with their peers, participate in scientific events, and access educational and career development resources. Through the network members can attend workshops, training courses, and other events that provide them with insights into current research, emerging trends, and career opportunities. The network also offers opportunities for young scientists to present their research, collaborate with other researchers, and develop their professional skills.

The Young Scientists Network provides a platform for numerous talented early-career scientists who voluntarily invest their time and energy in supporting the community, thereby actively shaping the YSN future.

We welcome applications from motivated individuals, preferably at PhD level, who are eager to contribute to our initiatives, engage with our organisation, and support its growth. We encourage prospective supporting members to explore our activities and submit their application via the link below, including their CV and a motivation letter.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Selected candidates will be invited for a short interview, primarily based on their motivation. While all applications are considered, we aim to ensure diverse representation across the National Adhering Organisations that make up the EFMC.
