November 17, 2026Online Event

EFMC-YSN MedChemBioOnline is an exceptional opportunity for early career scientists who are interested in learning more about medicinal chemistry and chemical biology. This webinar is organised by the Young Scientists Network of the European Federation for Medicinal chemistry and Chemical biology (EFMC-YSN) and is designed to provide students and young professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in these fields.

Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) have emerged as a powerful therapeutic modality, combining the selectivity of antibodies with the potency of highly active small-molecule payloads. While several ADCs have achieved clinical success, many challenges remain, including improving selectivity, reducing off-target toxicity, and broadening the range of treatable diseases. Addressing these challenges will require continued advances across every component of ADC design, from antibodies and linkers to payloads and conjugation strategies.

This webinar will explore recent innovations that are expanding the ADC toolbox, with particular emphasis on next-generation linkers, novel payload classes, and emerging conjugation chemistries. Attendees will gain insights into how these advances are improving the stability, efficacy, and safety of ADCs, while opening new opportunities for targeted therapeutics.

What sets EFMC-YSN MedChemBioOnline apart is its flexibility and accessibility. The webinar is free and open for everyone, making it easy to balance your attendance with other commitments. And because it's organised by EFMC-YSN, you'll have the opportunity to connect with a global community of young scientists who share your interests and goals.
